Bought the Chicago Inter-Ocean, 1891. Sold it, 1894; purchased the Times-Herald and Evening Post, 1895. Republican; took active part in election of President M‘Kinley and in drafting gold plank in Republican platform of 1896.
Proprietor and editor Chicago Record Herald.
