日高信六郎
In 1919 Hidakastudied at Tokyo University at the faculty of Law in Tokyo, Japan.
Joined the Foreign Ministry. Served in various capacities, including student diplomat in France (1920) ; aide to Japanese Representative at League of Nations in Geneva (1922), as 3rd Secretary of Japanese Legation in Switzerland (1928); as aide to Japanese Representative at Tariff Conference in Peking (1925); as 1st Secre-tary of Japanese Embassy at Nanking (1933) ; as counsellor of same (1937); as Minister to China (1941);as Ambassador to Italy (1942) and retired in 1946. Was appointed director of Foreign Service Training Institute (1955).
