In 1927 graduated from Tokyo University. In 1945 received the Doctor of Engineering degree.
Hidemasa Kimura became engineer of the Aeronautics Research Institute of Tokyo University. He was an assistant professor of the same university (1941). Hidemasa Kimura was a professor of the same university and concurrently staff official of the Aeronautics Research Institute (1945). Appointed professor of Nihon University (1947). During these years, reported on a number of researches in the fields of aeronautics and mechanical engineering. He was assigned as chief designer to build the A-2b long-range plane which established a world record in 1944.
