Served successively as director of Utsunomiya, Suidobashi and Kanda tax offices, chief of Accounting Section of Shuzeikyoku (Tax Bureau), cabinet researcher, chief of National Tax Section of Tax Bureau, chief of Archives & Documents Section of Finance Minister's Secretariat, chief director of Eizen Kanzai-kyoku (Repairs, Building & Property Custodian Bureau), chief of
General Affairs Department, director of Bank and Tax bureaus and thereafter was appointed Vice-Minister of Finance in 1944.
Retired from government service in 1945.
Served then as vice-president of Toyo Takushoku Kaisha (Toyo Colonization Company), president of Dai- Nippon Shusei Hambai Kaisha (Great Japan Alcohol Sales Company) and later assumed the above-captioned posts.
Holds additional posts of chairman of Federation of Japan Licensed Tax Accountants’ Association and chairman of the Tax Accountant License Examination Committee.
