Hideto Kishida

Background

Hideto Kishida was born in Tattori Prefecture.

Career

After graduating trom Tokyo University was appointed professor there and was conferred a degree (1929). Hideto Kishida was also the author of several books, including, "Ancient Architecture" and "Japanese Architecture" (in English).

Achievements

Among his architectural achievements are the Ya-suda Hall, the library of Tokyo University, and the Japanese house which was exhibited at the Japanese pavilion of the New York Exposition before World War II.
