Professor, since 1972. Chairman department geriatric medicine, since 1972. Research fellow department hematology Hektoen Institute, University Illinois-Chicago, 1956—1960.

President 2d Membrane Biology Congress, Kanagawa, Japan, 1962—1963. Visiting professor Aachen University Medical Technology Institute, Germany, 1983. Member international advisory board Age and Ageing, since 1982.
