He graduated from Commercial Department of Toa Dobun Shoin University in 1910.
Hikoichiro Miyazaki entered Ito Tadashi Shoten (Store) in 1910 and became manager of Kobe Branch of Ito Tadashi Shoji (Commercial) Company in 1911. When the company was reorganized into Daido Boeki (Foreign Trade) Company, became its senior managing director in 1920; resigned in 1943.
He became manager of Osaka and Kobe branches of Koeki Kandan (Trade Control Corporation), chairman of Kobe Broadcasting Company, Ltd., and president of Kobe Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Additional posts: Auditor of Maruko Company since 1949, vice-president of Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and chief director of Japan Textiles Export Association. Served also as an official of over 10 import and export organizations, holding various additional posts including that of the permanent director of Kansai Federation of Economic Organizations. Made inspection tours of New Zealand, Australia, U.S.A., Holland, England, West Indies, Philippines, Dutch Indies and Malaya.
