Hilton Cowie

A Formula 3 driver in Britain and Germany, who did well in the 1992 National Class of British Formula 3. This, and a reasonable British F2 season in 1993 helped pave the way to an International Formula 3000 drive - however it was all too short. Cowie also took part in the first two races of the 1993 International Formula 3000 season but did not qualify for either race.
Cowie went into sports and touring cars, initially in Britain, and then until 1998, in South Africa.
Since he ended his racing career early, Cowie went to work as a business development manager, but is now a self-employed product development and training manager in the construction industry, and is based in Cape Town.
