Takamura, Hiromasa was born on April 4, 1943 in Hikone, Shiga, Japan. Son of Hirotoshi and Chieko (Hayashi) Takamura.

Lecturer Ohtani Women's Junior College, Osaka, 1968, Ohtani Women's University, Osaka, 1972-1979, assistant professor, 1979-1984, professor English, since 1984, dean graduate school, since 2004.
