Hiromichi Noda was born in 1844. He was the third son of Bumpei lshimitsu, a clansman of Kumamoto.

Hiromichi Noda participated with the Imperial forces and fought in the Hakodate Battle during the civil war of the Meiji Restoration. After the war, he was created a Baron and appointed Intendant Lieutenant General and, after retirement from the military service, a member of the House of Peers.
