Hirose Kyube

Background

Hirose Kyube was born in 1790.

Career

From the generation of his grandfather, his was a head family of a village and handled affairs of Shogunate estates in the province. Kyube promoted industry in the locality. Masayoshi Enya, the local magistrate, appointed him director of irrigation, land development, embankment building and other public works. Was commissioned by the local feudal lord to improve his finances.
