Hirose Toyosaku was born in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

Education

Graduated from the German Law Department of Tokyo University.

Career

In 1917 he entered Ministry of Finance. Served as finance commissioner in America, Director of the Budget Bureau and of the Finance Bureau, appointed vice-Minister of Finance (1940) and Minister of Finance of the Suzuki Cabinet (1945) and resigned when the war ended. Appointed chairman of the Hino Diesel Industry Company.
