Assistant professor Kyoto School Nutritional Sciences, 1978—1980. Scientist Chisso Corporation Yokohama Research Center, 1980—1989, manager Research and Development, 1989-1997, biosensor department manager, 1997—2003, chief scientist, 2003—2007. Technical director AZMax Company, since 2007.

Guest researcher National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, 1986-1987.
