Hiroshi Ogushi

Career
A native of Kishima District, Saga and graduate of the University of Tokyo, he joined the Ministry of Finance in 1989 and received an Master of Business Administration from University of California, Los Angeles in the United States while in the ministry. Leaving the ministry in 2005, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in the same year. In June 2007, Ogushi was blamed for attending the funeral of a yakuza member.
Membership
The yakuza member, Zenji Tsurumaru, was a senior member of the designated yakuza group Kyushu Seido-kai, who was murdered by the group"s rival syndicate Dojin-kai.
