Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Madrid.
Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary at Constantinople and Brussels. Plenipotentiary for the Negotiation of the Peace Treaty between Spain and the United States, 1898.
Delegate to the Peace Conference at The Hague, 1899. Ambassador in Vienna.
Minister for Foreign Affairs, Madrid.
