He gratuated from Middle School Course of Taisei Gakkan Institute at Osaka in 1908.
Career
Hisakichi Taniguchi organized Mimasaka Rikken Seinento (Mimasaka Constitutional Young Men's Party) in 1909 and became chief editor of Nikkan Shin-Sakushu (New Sakushii Provincial Daily News).
He entered Seno-o Bank in 1911 and after it was renamed Chugoku Bank, he became its director in 1938, managing director in 1940 and then president in 1946. He resigned from the bank and became president in 1947 and chairman in 1951 of Sanyo Shimbun (newspaper).
Hisakichi Taniguchi held various additional posts including those of president of Sanyo Tosho Kaisha (Sanyo Book Company), permanent councilor of Okayama Chamber of Commerce & Industry, member of Okayama Rotary Club and president of Sanyo Broadcasting Company.

Hisakichi Taniguchi was haiku poet (pseudonym: Kokyo). Book: Kushu Hagi-no Tsuka (Collected Haiku Poems-Mound of Bush Clover).
