From 1928, served successively as manager of Okayama and Kobe branches, supervisor of London Agency, director of International Settlement Bank in Switzerland and director of Research Bureau of the head office.
Was Japanese representative to International Commercial Conference and United Peace j Security Committee of the Carnegie Foundation in 1936.
Appointed president of Mokyo (Menkiang) Bank in 1942.
Served as a counselor of Political Afiairs Research Committee of Liberal Party and 1 thereafter became president of Kokusai KoeKi Kaisha (International Trading Com- I pany) since 1948.
