Career
Having graduated from the university, Tashiro entered Mitsui Mining Company and later became its president (1945). He was appointed member of Tetsudo Kaigi (Railway Conference), chairman of Japan Coal Mining Association (1946) and president of Sanyo Coal Company (since 1948). Tashiro held additional post of president of Teikoku Petroleum Company (1952-1954).
