Achievements include development of innovative finite element programs to investigate the application of smart materials to improve the performance of aeropropulsion systems, micromechanics based computer algorithm for modeling metal matrix composites in engine components. Recipient Cooperative Program commendation Pratt & Whitney/National Aeronautics and Space Administration, 1991.
