Career
Known for his 39-inch (99 cm) vertical jump, he goes by the nickname of "Flyboy" on the court. In 2008, Wei Jian played a few games with the Singapore Slingers while the team was competing in the 2008/09 Singapore Challenge Series. On August 2009, Wei Jian signed a one-year contract to play for the Singapore Slingers, along with Pathman Matialakan.
He scored a career high of 18 points against the Kuala Lumpur Dragons on November 22, 2009
Due to a knee injury, Wei Jian is out for the 2010/11 American Basketball League Season.
