Horie Muraichi

Background

Horie Muraichi was born in Fukushima Prefecture.

Education

Graduated from Kyoto University (1936).

Career

Served as professor of Takamatsu Higher School and member of Board of Education of Tokyo Metropolis and in other posts; was vice-president of Society for Friendship between Soviet Russia and Japan. Noted Marxist, he was active in journalism writing many articles explaining economic society of Soviet Russia and analyzing the present situation of world economics.
