In 1910 Hoshin Kuroda graduated from Tokyo University.
Career
Hoshin Kuroda was reporter of "Yomiuri Shimbun" (newspaper) and employee of Mitsukoshi Department Store. Inspected art activities in Europe and America. Also engaged in criticism of fine arts and publication of books on arts. In 1949 served as director of Nichi-Futsu Geijutsusha (Japan-France Art Society) and professor of Bunka Gakuin (Cultural Academy) and thereafter became professor of Kasci Daigaku (College of Domestic Science).
