A disciple of the late Kanjiiro Fujima, master of dancing, he was permitted to call himself Kansuke Fujima.
Career
Hoshu Tachibana was the head of the Tachibana school of Japanese stage dancing. He was an actor in the kabuki company of the late Uzaemon Ichimura, with the name of Utazo Ichimura. He founded Tachibana school of dancing in 1938. He was also a choreographer.
