Career
An artist of Japanese drawing applying cartoon technique. As an artist served on staff of various newspapers including Tokyo Nicliinichi, ChugairSlidgyo and Osaka Asahi; Is illustrator of humorous novels and articles using his unique painting style; has been pursuing the historical study of Japanese cartoons. Books include ‘‘History of Caricatures in Japan” ； Hare Nochi Kumori (Clear, Becoming Cloudy), a title taken from weather forecasting terms.
