Achievements include development of Wavelength Division Multiplexing -multiplexed EPON repeator systems; development of gigabit-per-second Wavelength Division Multiplexing -PON, wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network; first to optical multilevel differential phase shift keying systems. Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Optical Society Korea.
