Canadian Government, confirmed his names for fifty new mountains, glaciers, et cetera, and named in his honor a peak, glacier and river. Visited remote sections Canadian Rockies, 1916-1927, ascending a score of new peaks.
Assisted in organizing Mount Logan expedition to Alaska, 1925. Lecturer in mountaineering.
