Career
He was on the point of being executed for the crime of having pointed his finger at an Imperial carriage (732) when his sentence was commuted to exile on Sado Island thanks to the intervention of the Crown Prince. Pardoned (740) and came back to Nara. Was appointed Finance Minister and ordered to look after the Kuni Palace (744). Three modes of his are included in the Manydshu Anthology.
