Hugh Duffy is a Scottish rugby union and professional rugby league football player of the 1950s, playing representative level rugby union for Scotland making his debut in a five nations international match against France in Paris, and at club level for Jed-Forest Reconstruction Finance Corporation, as a Flanker, id est (that is) number 6 or 7, and playing club level rugby league for Salford, and Halifax, as a Forward.

Hugh Duffy played in Halifax"s 10-0 victory over Featherstone Rovers in the 1963 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1963-1964 season at Belle Vue, Wakefield on Saturday 2 November 1963.
