The Everetts" son, Robinson Everett, who served as Chief Judge of the United States Court of Military Appeals from 1980 to 1990, is of counsel to the firm. The firm also traces its roots to the firm of Sanford & Cannon, formed in 1965 by former Governor and former United States.
