With Wheeling Steel Corporation, 1920-1922, manager tin plate sales, 1923-1929, assistant general manager sales, 1929-1940, assistant vice president, 1940-1958, director, since 1947. Vice chairman board and director Scott Lumber Company, Bridgeport, Ohio, since 1947.

Chairman of the Board and director Sharon (Pennsylvania) Tube corporation since 1947. Director Vice-President Steel Service, Inc., since 1947, Parkersburg Steel corporation since. 1947; Chairman of the Board and director National Bank of West Virginia, Wheeling, since 1949.

Enlisted O.T.C., 1917. Second in command Lieutenant, Field Artillery, 1917. Served in American Expeditionary Force, 1917-1919, in all campaigns.

Discharge rank of First lieutenant.
