Began practice at Sandusky, 1905, with Judge Grayson Mills. In same year became editor on staff of Laning Law Book Company, Norwalk, O. Law writer on staff of Lawyers’ Coöperating Public Company, Rochester, New York, 1907-1912.

Resumed practice, Loudonville, O., January 1, 1912. Mayor of Milan, 1907-1908 (resigned).
