Member of the staff and co-director of La Revista de America, Paris, 1908-1914. During the World War was a member of the Editorial Board of the Bulletin de l'Amérique Latine. Founded and directed La Gaceta de America and the “Biblioteca Latinoamericana," Paris.
Founder and editor-in-chief of L‘Amérique Latine, Paris, 1923-1929. Parisian correspondent of the daily Imparcial oí Montevideo. Delegate to the International Institute of Intellectual Cooperation since Uruguay first entered into membership.
Delegate to various journalistic and historical congresses in Paris, Lisbon, Rome, Bucharest, and The Hague.
