Hunter Newby served as Chief Strategy Officer of the Telx Group, the company which was founded by Rory Cutaia in 2000. Newby's responsibilities at Telx included creating a strong business model, identifying and developing the trends in the industry. His important task was to formulate strategies which will strengthen company's leadership position in the marketplace.

During his work at Telx Newby started being involved into the capital raising process. He built and trained an outstanding team which produced consistent revenue.

Hunter Newby is also the Founder & CEO of Allied Fiber and a member of Standard & Poor's Society of Industry Leaders.

Newby is a published author and frequent speaker at various industry conferences. He has written and presented numerous technical and business reports in the communications industry. Newby is a Bachelor of Science in the field of Communication. In addition he currently writes a regular monthly column for Internet Telephony magazine titled Infrastructure Peering.
