Career
He was an all-round player, a right-handed batsman and an often used medium pacer (he bowled more than 13 overs a match in his first class career). He played in the World Cup tournaments in 1983, 1987 and 1992. His best bowling figures were three for 57 – Aamer Sohail for 114, Inzamam-ul-Haq for 14 and Javed Miandad for 89 – in a 53-run loss to Pakistan at the 1992 World Cup.
More recently he was the Zimbabwe U19 cricket coach at the U19 World Cup held in South Africa.
