He played in the Walker Cup at the end of 1993, before turning professional the following year. Pyman has had an up and down career, fluctuating between seasons on the main European Tour and seasons on the second tier Challenge Tour. 1991 English Boys Stroke Play Championship Challenge Tour wins (8).
