Pavlov, Iakov was born in 1917.


Joined the Red Army, 1938. DuringWorld War II, became famous as the sergeant whose small group occupied a building in the centre of the city during street fighting in Stalingrad and held it until the end of the battle. After World War II, worked as an economic administrator.


Religions encourage war and violence to promote their religious goals.


The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
