Career
He was defeated in the Liberal sweep of 1974. Arrol was a radio announcer in Vancouver and Calgary in the 1940s and 1950s until graduating from University of British Columbia and teachers college, teaching in Vancouver in the early 1960s and for the Scarborough Board of Education (at Woburn Collegiate Institute) in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He also was a reporter with the Daily Colonist in Victoria British Columbia in the mid-1960s.
He finished a distant third, losing to longtime Social Cr incumbent John Robinson.
