Career
Walsh started officiating ice hockey in the Philadelphia area at age 15. He has also worked as an official in the United States Hockey League and the ECHL. Ian Walsh"s first National Hockey League game was between the New Jersey Devils and the Anaheim Ducks on October 14, 2000. He worked his first National Hockey League playoff game between the Detroit Red Wings and the Columbus Blue Jackets on April 16, 2009.
