茨木屋幸齋
Magnate in Osaka. Was the proprietor of a tea-house in Shimmachi, Osaka. Came to Edo (1704) and competed in extravagance with Bunzaemon Kinokuniya, another magnet. They spent huge sums of money in extravagant pleasures in Edo gay quarters. Because Kosai always wore a cloak of damask, people called mm Donsu Dazjm or Damask Magnate. The Shogunate expelled him from Edo by reason of his extravagance.
