FAHD, IBN ABDUL AZIZ was born in 1923 in Riyadh. Son of King Abdul Aziz ibn Saud.

Career

Minister of Education 1953, of the Interior 1962-1975. Second Deputy Prime Minister 1967-1975, First Deputy Prime Minister 1975-1982, Prime Minister June since 1982. Became Crown Prince 1975.

Succeeded to the throne on the death of his brother 13 June 1982.

Assumed title "Servant of the Two Shrines” 1986.
