In his time of absence the acting Military governor was Group Captain Deji Afolabi Ayanleke who was also the base commander then for the Nigerian Air Force. He holds the traditional title of Turakin Fika. He was also honoured with the traditional title of Shettima of Igbaja Land by Oba Ahmed Awuni Arepo the third.
