Salombo has played previously with South Carolina Inter de Kinshasa and South Carolina Cilu in Congo, Ajax Cape Town in South Africa, Football Club Brussels, K.S.C. Lokeren Oost-Vlaanderen and F.C. Verbroedering Dender East.H. in Belgium, as well as FK Bežanija and Red Star Belgrade in Serbia and F91 Dudelange in Luxembourg. While playing with United Republic Louisiana Louvière Centre he was elected as a player of the season in June 2012 by fans.
