Director General of the National Sinarquista Union, 1959-1975. Secretary of Political Action of the National Sinarquista Union, since 1987. First President of the Mexican Democratic Party, 1975-1978, 1984-1986, since 1987.
Detained by the Attorney General of Mexico for conflict with the Governor of Guanajuato, 1964.
