In 1727-1735 took the title "Doctor of Theology" in Rome, studied the history of church, wrote a lot of books dedicated to the church. In the year 1735 went back to the motherland and became archimandrite of the monastery. Than he studied to learn the history of Grodno and made the inventory of Kalozskaya church: he made some general notes and wrote about the history of church. Now he is the only one source about the history of this church. Beside this he studied the information about "The old castle".
For some time lived in Polotsk and described The Cross Of Efrosiniya Polotskaya. With the help of this the cross became world-known.
