Igor Alphonsovich Vrublevsky is a Belarusian researcher and information scientist specializing in electronic materials, nanoelectronics, anodic oxide films, porous alumina, semiconductor structures, and related electronic and superconducting technologies. He has worked at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and has authored numerous scientific publications.
Education
Vrublevsky studied at the Minsk Radioengineering Institute, where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree from 1978 to 1983 and a Master of Science degree from 1985 to 1990. He subsequently pursued doctoral research in solid-state electronics at the Belarusian State University, completing a Doctor of Philosophy degree from 1996 to 2001. His education established the foundation for a career in electronic materials, microelectronics, and nanoscale devices.
Career
Vrublevsky began his professional career as an engineer at the Minsk Radioengineering Institute from 1983 to 1984 and continued there as a junior researcher from 1984 to 1986. From 1990 to 2002 he worked as a researcher at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, where his work developed toward the study of electronic materials and micro- and nanoelectronic structures. He returned to the Minsk Radioengineering Institute as a senior researcher from 2002 to 2011. His subsequent research has remained associated with the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics in Minsk, where he has been identified as an associate professor and head of the laboratory for Materials and Components of Electronics and Superconducting Equipment. His research addresses anodic alumina and other oxide films, porous and nanostructured materials, electronic transport, sensors, heating elements, carbon films, perovskite materials, and related electronic technologies.
