In 1941 Igor Ivanovich graduated from the Ordzhonikidze Infantry School and then from Frunze Military Academy.
During the Great Patriotic War Igor Kreizer was a Commander of the 128th Guards Rifle Regiment (65th Army, 1st Belorussian Front). He distinguished himself in the battles during the capture and holding of a bridgehead on the left bank of the Narew River near the town of Serock (Poland). Since 1955 was Colonel in stock.
After the war he lived in Voronezh and worked at a tire factory.
