Igor Kondratievich graduated from the historical department of the historical and philological faculty of Voronezh State University (1949).
Creative activity began in Chelyabinsk. In 1944, Igor Kondratievich was invited by K. I. Massalitin artist of the orchestra of the Voronezh State Academic Russian Folk Choir.
In 1949-1961 Igor Kondratievich taught history at the Voronezh Regional Cultural Education School (later - the Voronezh Regional Cultural and Educational School, the city of Bobrov). Administrator, methodologist, cultural organizer in various cultural and art institutions of the city of Voronezh (1962-1969, intermittently), employee of the regional House of Culture of Trade Unions (1990-1997).
A participant in cultural programs of many prestigious events, including the VIth World Festival of Youth and Students (Moscow, 1957) and the World Olympiad (Moscow, 1980). In the 1980-1990s, Igor Kondratievich led a seminar of cultural organizers at the regional continuing education courses for cultural workers.
