Igors Kazanovs is a retired athlete who represented the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics and later Latvia.
Career
In Rome six years earlier he finished five to record his best World Championships performance.
Achievements
He was a soldier in the Soviet army, but is best remembered for his achievements as a hurdler. His personal time was 13.26s, achieved at the 1993 World Championships where he finished 6th. He won four European Indoor gold medals over 60 metres hurdles.
