1923-1930 also assistant professor, Chair of Social Hygiene, Medical Faculty, 2nd Moscow University. From 1929 founder-dean, Faculty of Sanitation and Hygiene, 1st Moscow Medical Institute. 1930, together with A. V. Mol’kov, founder Social Hygiene Museum and organized a health exhibition.
1930 organized Soviet pavilion at the Dresden International Exhibition. 1930-1935 associate professor of medical history, 1935-1940 head, Chair of Medical History, 1st Moscow Medical Institute. 1934-1939 also head, Department of Higher Medical Education Establishments, Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic People's Commissariat of Health.
1940-1941 professor of soc hygiene, 1941-1945 director, 1st Leningrad Medical Institute. 1945-1947 acting director, 1947-1949 senior associate, Institute of Health Service Organization(s) and North. A. Semashko Institute of Medical History. 1945-1948 also head Chair of Medical History, 1st Moscow Medical Institute.
1949-1967 consultant, Centr Institute of Sanitary Education, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Ministry of Health. Member, Editor Committee for the Publ of Classic Foreign and Russian Medical Works. Presidium member and Honorary member, All-Russian Social of Medical Historians.
