Career

He is currently playing with The Human Context CSKA Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Sorokin was selected by the New York Islanders in the third round (78th overall) of the 2014 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Sorokin made his Kontinental Hockey League debut playing with Metallurg Novokuznetsk during the 2012-2013 KHL season.
